If it's not bad enough that I have to do freelance work nearly every night, I'm also having to do overtime for the day job. That doesn't leave very much time in the day for me. But I can't really complain about it because I'll be taking vacation time soon. As long as no one stops me from taking my leave, I'll keep my mouth shut, suck it up and stay late every day.
Aw, I'm a big whiner anyway. It's only an additional two hours a day and doesn't include the weekend. The extra pay will be nice, too.
So, the weekend. Tom and I will spend some of it getting ready for our trip next week. The Mazda needs a good cleaning, inside and out. If we work on it together, it shouldn't take very long. At one point Tom had mentioned rotating the tires, so that's something else. There will be some clothes washing and some packing, organizing, list writing, the usual pre-vacation stuff.
I'm going to power out some freelance work this weekend because I will not be doing any for an entire week. Woo hoo! The laptop will be coming with me, but it's strictly for entertainment. I'll probably check email at some point, but perhaps not my freelance email. What I don't know, won't stress me out.
