The summer storms did not give us a break yesterday. They started early, in fact. I had planned to play tennis with Alex after work. We've been trying to get together for a while now, but something keeps foiling our plans. Since the afternoons are so iffy, we're going to give it a try on Sunday morning while Tom is playing baseball.
Speaking of baseball, the rain didn't cause any problems for Tom and he was able to attend his game last night. While he was gone I worked on freelance and watched a bit of the French Open. All very exciting to read about, I'm sure.
Eye update: Everything's fine with my eye. No noticeable trauma. It still hurts if I press on it, but that's easy enough to avoid.
Good! too bad it doesn't get you out of housework, though.
