I had quite a workout yesterday and I haven't recovered from it yet. First, Becky and I did our own upper body strength training and started on our quest to do One Hundred Pushups! I did a total of 46 full body pushups, but not all at once. We did sets (10, 12, 7, 7, 10) with a 60 seconds rest in between. It definitely felt like work, but not unbearable. We also did shoulder pyramids and biceps pyramids, triceps dips, chest presses, flies, and bent over rows (back). For the first time we did our workout after lunch instead of before. And we didn't much care for the time change. Our stomachs weren't loving it so we skipped abs.
After work, I went back to the gym for cardio. I bought a new pair of running shoes on Sunday and I wanted to try them out. I chose one of the treadmills in the back row. I prefer them because they don't have any side bars for me to whack my arms on. Yes, I am truly uncoordinated. Anyhow, I selected another 150 BPM podcast and managed to run for 25 minutes. It wasn't quite as hard as the last time I ran. Must be the shoes.

But after going home and taking a shower, I was completely exhausted. I had to go to Publix because we were pretty much out of everything, but I drifted around the store with no energy. I got the items on my list, but couldn't be bothered to plan any meals for the week. Once home, I couldn't be bothered to cook dinner either. Tom and I just snacked while watching TV, which seemed to work out well for both of us.
Oh, I almost set the microwave on fire yesterday. Not once, but twice! The first time was entirely my fault. I reheated some garlic bread and marinara sauce, not giving a thought in the world to the piece of aluminum foil in the styrofoam box. Fortunately I was watching the box go around inside and saw a blue spark. The second time was really Tom's fault. For my evening snack, I reheated a leftover McDonald's chicken strip that Tom hadn't finished the other night. Unbeknownst to me, a little foil sauce packet strip was stuck to the lid of the box. That explained the smoke when I pulled the chicken strip from the microwave. Oops.
I've never heard of someone having two microwave fires in one day!
And I'm exhausted just reading about your workout.
