My mom always said "rabbits, rabbits, rabbits" upon waking us on the first day of the month when we were kids. These days, if I remember at all, it's usually later in the day. Too late for any good luck.
This week has been full of tennis and even though I love the game, I'm getting a bit tired of it. I think the main problem is that it's three days in a row. Just like last week, I had doubles on Tuesday, clinic on Wednesday, and I'm subbing again for singles today. That leaves very little time for anything else. Which could become a big problem. I'm starting to get more freelance work flowing in and I'm determined to stay on top of it this fall.
Not that I didn't try last fall. But with the summer calendars being past due and trying to play catchup with the work the other designer had left undone, there was only so much I could do. I also think I tried to handle too much on my own last year. This year, I will send more work to my design helpers earlier, instead of waiting until I become overwhelmed. What's really going to help this fall is that Krista has joined my team. She's started doing ad layouts and will also be able to help with the top designs. Hurray!
Sounds like you're busy as a bee.
